Just putting a quick blog out today to suggest that it’s a great time to do some Facebook Events and Ads. I don’t have any scientific research to support this — but I do have some anecdotal evidence.
Carey Sadler from Rivercity Pilates changed a couple of strategies lately. The first thing she started doing was to offer more workshops and a few short term classes – most at the beginner level (1 class per week for 4 weeks). For each class, we built a Facebook Event. The second thing she did was to give me the go ahead to fun some Facebook Ads to try and get to more potential clients.
I’m here to say they’re working! We did several kinds of ads — some that are boosted blog posts, some that are designed to drive traffic to the website, and others to get more event responses. One 4 week beginner class is full with people on the waiting list, and she planned another one. Another one is 75% full with a full month before the first class. There was a free class for the community on Sunday evening, 40 people responded positively to the FB event, 30 actually signed up in MindBody for the class and 15 showed up for the class!
Each of the ads has different visuals, and different content. We spent $18 on the 4 week class that started last Sunday — and she had 8 clients in the first class. It’s almost back to school time, and people are ready to get in the groove again. Design some workshops and short term classes, and then use Facebook to get those classes out to the community. You’ll be amazed at the results!
