I discovered many years ago that I loved doing things with my heart and soul. Riding horses, playing the piano, conducting training classes were just some of the things that I was passionate about. I even changed my major in college from music to something else, because the demands of being a piano major were taking the emotion out of my music. It became a chore, and I could no longer lose myself in my music.
A few years ago when I walked into Rivercity Pilates, I found more than a Pilates Studio. I met Carey Sadler, the owner and an instructor at the studio, who also invests her heart and soul into everything she does. I found a coach and mentor for my Pilates practice, I found a kindred spirit, and I found a friend who supports me and challenges me to do new things. When she asked me to work for her and take on her social media marketing, I hesitated. I already had a full time job. I love the engagement that can be achieved with social media platforms for a business. I also love the challenge. The possibilities for making new connections via social media are unlimited. In what Carey was asking me, I would represent her on those platforms, and I wanted to make sure that I could do that effectively. Almost 2 years later, that is the very thing that makes Farm Girl Marketing Solutions unique. I don’t just post things on social media and consider my duties as complete. I become invested in your business, and your success is my success. My success isn’t making sure that there’s a post on your page every day. My success is knowing that potential clients are engaging with your social media platforms and coming into your business.
Here’s Carey talking about our work together.
